I am a Licensed Esthetician and Licensed Massage Therapist.  My passion for therapeutic massage started while working at a local resort spa, The Boars Head Inn.  Quickly realizing the desire to help others through the healing art of therapeutic massage and being recognized for giving valuable yet relaxing services became my primary goal to open a private practice.  

I opened my doors in downtown Scottsville back in 2008 as The River Bend Spa.   I slowly grew and expanded services adding my Esthtician License and skin care services, while focusing on a quality relaxing experience in a private setting.  Going from a small room in 2008 to a huge studio on main street in 2010 with a business partner who had her own yoga practice I was able to achieve an increase in clientele while also expanding my family and participate in my community by sitting on local boards like the Scottsville Chamber of Commerce.  We called ourselves BALACE Scottsville and we had a ton of fun offering our healing services, hosting celebrations and workshops, doing a retail boutique, and participating in local events. 

We all know what happened in 2020 and I held onto our big studio as long as I could but eventually I had to downsize. In July of 2021 I once again pivoted and moved into a one room studio in an old building in the heart of downtown Scottsville. This building became my new home and while working upstair in the main building renovations were being done on an old ice cram shack that is located out back.

Feeling like I am finally in a permanent home again I moved into the The Massage Shack in May of 2022. This building is very private, quaint, and tranquil. It makes an ideal location to get that much needed Therapeutic Massage, Spa Facial, and Waxing.
