About Balance Day Spa

Balance Day Spa is a hidden gem in the downtown area of Scottsville Va., locally owned and operated by Beth A. Gunnell.  Her passion for therapeutic massage started while working at a local resort spa.  Quickly realizing the desire to help others through the healing arts of therapeutic massage as well as offering valuable relaxation and pampering services became the primary goal to open Balance Day Spa.  

The Day Spa opened its doors in downtown Scottsville in 2008.  Slowly growing and expanding services while focusing on a quality relaxing experience in a private setting.  The location of the Spa in the heart of downtown Scottsville make it an ideal location to get that much needed Therapeutic Massage, Spa Facial, Waxing and various other services.  The Spa can be booked for individuals and couples, as well as groups and spa parties, with personal service  and small town appeal.  Just a short drive from Charlottesville, Dillwyn, Palmyra and surrounding communities.  

Beth Gunnell and all therapist that work with Balance Day Spa are certified massage therapist and continually work to expand knowledge through educational opportunities.  The therapist at the spa are able to expertly care for a variety of client needs through from Therapeutic Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Aromatherapy just to name a few.
